just downloaded privus 3.0.6 to my verizon bb tour. once download completed i tried to run app and got error message "...attempts to access a secure APi". permissions set to allow, any suggestions?

You need to set your permissions for Privus Mobile to "Allow" for each option. Options > Advanced Options > Applications > Privus Mobile

did that already. everything set to allow. deleted and reinstalled, same error message. rebooted...same error message

according to privus website it looks like version 2.8.2 supports tour while i have the 3.0.6 version. would that make a difference?

i have 4.7 OS and privus 3.0.6 is supposed to be the right version but im still no closer. same message. Guess i will give up on this app. thanks for the quick replies

Guess i will give up on this app. thanks for the quick replies My mistake, the Tour will actually be using the 4.2 version unless you're running OS 5.0. The only device to use the 4.7 now is the Storm 9500/9530 running OS 4.7. Our 4.7 version includes the touchscreen libraries that the Tour doesn't have, which is why it's looking for something that isn't there even though you're running OS 4.7. The 4.2 version alleviates this issue.
